Alphonso mango pulp in a handy foil pouch has hit the UK market. It’s So Mango, launched by Atul Agro, contains the pulp of two fruit without preservatives. The packs, which have an 18-month shelf life, come in a 200g format aimed at shoppers, as well as in 400g, 500g and 1.5kg packs for foodservice suppliers. The fruit comes from the firm’s family-owned production in the Western Ghats of India. Atul Agro marketing manager Kartik Poojari said: “Naturally ripened King Alphonso mangoes are now available without the fuss of peeling, stoning, mess or waste from whole fruits.”
